Local access numbers are
local telephone numbers used as an access number
for certain prepaid phone cards. Local Access
Numbers are used to reduce costs and provide better
call rates for consumers. These Local Access Numbers
can be used within your calling area. (See Local
Access Nos.)
Billing increments
are the unit of time that is taken off of your
card as calls are made, ranging from 1 minute
to 10 minute billing increments or even higher
. Shorter billing increments always work to your
benefit. DLP USA Phone Card has a
1- minute increment, so that means more calls
and more value to your call credit.
This fee is only charged
to the calling card for every call that actually
connects. The fee is charged towards the dollar
amount of the calling card you have purchased.
Connection fees can vary quite a bit, but also
really chip away at the number of minutes your
calling card has. Many prepaid calling cards will
have rates that are super cheap, but have very
expensive connection fees .
Look for a calling
card that doesn't charge a connection fee or monthly
fee, or tax. Fees take away minutes from your
calling card. DLP USA Phone Card does
not charge a connection fee.
Maintenance fees
are another charge that you need to
look for when using a prepaid calling card. Not
all calling cards have this fee. B ut if they
do , charging can be done daily, weekly or monthly
once the card is activated. W ith DLP USA Phone
Card , we do not charge any maintenance or surcharge
fees, so there will be no disappearing balances
nor unexplained deductions on your call credits.
